Concept designed for the bike share system Copenhagen

This concept enters a new way of modern thinking. It uses all the positive aspects of modern possibilities of technique but at the same time is a very simple design. In this way it is very user-friendly and it is also very sustainable. Our idea is to make the world simpler and more accessible for everyone. In stead of making things more complicated than necessary and in stead of making things more energy demanding.

The concept consists of small, mobile hand in/ hand out units (comparable to transport containers), in which bicycles are stored in a compact space. Each unit is equipped with a pay/registration panel and contact with the central station can be made. The units are completely self-supporting (are completely provided with electricity by itself). Therefore they are very ecological and flexible in use. (location and amounts can be varied rapidly. Re-distribution can be executed easily by dividing full and empty units. In these units bicycles are well protected from vandalism, theft and influence of the weather.
